Morales went 3-for-5 in the victory. He launched a solo home run in Seattle's two-run first inning and then broke the game open with a three-run blast in the fifth.

Both of Morales' homers came courtesy of Justin Grimm (7-6), who took the loss. Grimm was charged with six runs -- five earned -- on seven hits in four-plus innings.

Joe Saunders (6-8) notched the win despite giving up two runs -- one earned on 10 hits over 6 2/3 innings.

Nelson Cruz and Elvis Andrus had two hits apiece for Texas. The Rangers scored their only run on a passed ball in the seventh.
