MLB: San Francisco 5, Atlanta 1

SAN FRANCISCO, May 12 (UPI) -- Tim Lincecum held Atlanta to two hits in seven shutout innings Sunday, staking the San Francisco Giants to a 5-1 win over the Braves.

Lincecum (3-2) broke a personal three-start winless streak, striking out seven while issuing three walks in the 111-pitch gem.

Marco Scutaro and Pablo Sandoval each went 2-for-4 with a solo homer and Brandon Belt also went deep for the Giants, who won the final three contests of their four-game series.

Braves starter Kris Medlen (1-5) was touched for five runs (three earned) on eight hits and five walks through 5 1/3 innings.

Evan Gattis drove in Atlanta's only run.
