MONTREAL, April 16 (UPI) -- Scott Hartnell powered a potent Philadelphia offense with his seventh career hat trick Monday, igniting the Flyers' 7-3 dismantling of Montreal.

Jakub Voracek and Claude Giroux each supplied a goal and an assist while Erik Gustafsson and Wayne Simmonds also found the net as the Flyers snapped a four-game skid.

Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 25 shots for Philadelphia, which is seven points out of an Eastern Conference playoff berth.

Canadiens goaltender Carey Price was chased after two periods, yielding six goals on 29 shots.

Peter Budaj played the rest of the way, allowing one tally on four shots.

Alex Galchenyuk, Max Pacioretty and Brendan Gallagher scored as second-seeded Montreal dropped a second decision in three games.
