NHL: Minnesota 6, Colorado 4

DENVER, March 16 (UPI) -- Devin Setoguchi provided two goals and an assist Saturday and Minnesota completed a sweep of Colorado with a 6-4 win over the Avalanche.

Pierre-Marc Bouchard and Ryan Suter each scored and added an assist for the Wild, who netted six goals in a game for the first time this season and outscored Colorado 11-7 in the home-and-home victories.

Cal Clutterback and Kyle Brodizak also scored as Minnesota recorded a fourth win in five games.

Niklas Backstrom earned the victory despite yielding four goals on 32 shots.

Gabriel Landeskog scored a goal and an assist, while John Mitchell, P.A. Parenteau and Chuck Kobasew also tallied for Colorado, which dropped a third straight overall.

Jean-Sebastien Giguere started in net but was pulled following the first period after yielding four goals on 14 shots.

Semyon Varlamov entered and turned aside 12-of-14 tries the rest of the way.
