NBA: San Antonio 90, Philadelphia 85

PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan returned from a game off to score 24 points and haul down 17 rebounds Monday and San Antonio rallied for a 90-85 win over Philadelphia.

After being rested during Saturday's Spurs win over Atlanta, Duncan returned with a vengeance, going 10-of-17 from the field with five assists as San Antonio racked up its fifth straight win.

Tony Parker added 20 points with eight helpers and Kawhi Leonard scored four of his 18 points during a 15-3 game-ending run that saw the Spurs erase a late seven-point deficit and cruise to the victory.

Leonard also grabbed seven rebounds and Tiago Splitter supplied 10 points with 12 boards for San Antonio, which improved to 33-11 on the season.

Evan Turner (18 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists), Spencer Hawes (16, six boards) and Jrue Holiday (15, eight helpers) led the 76ers, who fell for the seventh time in nine contests.
