PHOENIX, June 24 (UPI) -- Paul Goldschmidt and Justin Upton each homered and provided two RBI Saturday in the Arizona Diamondbacks' 10-5 spanking of the Chicago Cubs.

Goldschmidt added an run-scoring triple and Upton supplied an RBI single during a six-run uprising in the fourth inning that erased a 2-1 deficit and carried the Diamondbacks to their 12th win in 15 home games.

Goldschmidt finished with three hits and scored three times. Aaron Hill, Jason Kubel and Miguel Montero each drove in two runs for the D-backs, who clinched their three-game series against the Cubs.

Craig Breslow (2-0) earned the victory with 1 2/3 scoreless frames in relief of starter Ian Kennedy.

Chicago starter Paul Maholm (4-6) cracked a two-run homer, but was rocked for seven runs (six earned) on nine hits over 3 1/3 frames.

David DeJesus and Starlin Castro each went 4-for-5 in the Cubs' loss.
