MLS: Columbus 0, New England 0 (tie)

FOXBOROUGH, Mass., June 16 (UPI) -- Andy Gruenebaum made three key saves in the first half Saturday, helping the Columbus Crew preserve a 0-0 draw with New England.

Gruenebaum erased a one-on-one opportunity by Jose Moreno in the 15th minute as well as golden scoring chances by Saer Sene in the 29th and Fernando Cardenas in the 37th to keep the Crew in the game.

Columbus (5-4-4) stretched its unbeaten run at Gillette Stadium to seven matches with the draw.

New England (5-7-2), meanwhile, earned a point in its second straight home game.
