
SEATTLE, May 27 (UPI) -- Kendrys Morales went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBI Sunday, backing C.J. Wilson's strong start in the Los Angeles Angels' 4-2 win over Seattle.
Morales singled home a run in the first inning to put LA ahead for good and added a solo homer in the fourth, doubling the lead.
Mark Trumbo provided a bases-empty shot for the Angels, who completed a four-game sweep of the Mariners at Safeco Field.
Wilson (6-4) allowed only one run on two hits over six dominant innings, walking two and striking out five.
Scott Downs nailed down the win with his fifth save as Los Angeles notched its sixth consecutive victory overall.
M's starter Hector Noesi (2-6) absorbed the loss, surrendering three runs on five hits in an eight-inning effort.
Justin Smoak went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the loss.
