NBA: Atlanta 109, Los Angeles Clippers 102

ATLANTA, April 24 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson and Jeff Teague combined for 49 points Tuesday and Atlanta stayed hot heading into the playoffs with a 109-102 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Johnson put in 28 points, Teague added 21 and Josh Smith contributed 18 points and 10 rebounds for the Hawks, who won for the fourth time in five games.

Atlanta, which held the Eastern Conference's fifth seed coming into the game, will wrap up the regular season Thursday against Dallas.

Blake Griffin pumped in 36 points and Chris Paul struck for 34 for the Clippers, who ceded the Pacific Division title to the Los Angeles Lakers with the setback.
