CINCINNATI, April 7 (UPI) -- Omar Infante went 3-for-5 with a homer and Giancarlo Stanton added three RBI Saturday in the Marlins' first win as Miami, 8-3 over Cincinnati.
Infante's solo blast in the fifth tied the score 2-2 and Stanton followed later in the frame with a two-run single, lifting the one-time Florida Marlins to their first victory under their new Miami name.
Stanton also stroked an RBI double in the first inning. Hanley Ramirez added a two-run two-bagger as Miami pounded out 12 hits in the road victory.
Ricky Nolasco (1-0) hurled eight innings of three run-ball, yielding six hits, walking none and striking out five along the way.
Reds starter Mat Latos (0-1) was touched for four runs on seven hits over 4 2/3 innings.
Zack Cozart went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and Joey Votto added a two-run blast for Cincinnati.
