MLS: Sporting KC 2, FC Dallas 1

KANSAS CITY, Kan., March 25 (UPI) -- Kei Kamara scored the go-ahead goal in the 88th minute Sunday, sparking Sporting Kansas City to a 2-1 decision over FC Dallas.

The decisive play came when Chance Myers beat Dallas defender Hernan Pertuz to a ball and sent a pass to Kamara, who slid it past the near post to break a 1-1 tie.

Kamera scored after he was denied by Dallas goalie Kevin Hartman on a penalty kick in the 50th minute.

After spotting Dallas a 1-0 lead, Kansas City (3-0-0) equalized during first-half stoppage time when Aurelien Collin put a no-look header past Hartman off a Graham Zusi free kick.

Ricardo Villar scored on a first-half free kick for Dallas (1-1-1).
