ORLANDO, Fla., March 21 (UPI) -- Ryan Anderson and Dwight Howard combined for 57 points Wednesday, giving the Orlando Magic a 19-point lead through three periods and a 103-93 win over Phoenix.
The Magic had lost three of their previous four games to three of the top four teams in the league -- Chicago, Miami and San Antonio.
Anderson made seven of Orlando's 11 3-pointers and scored 29 points. Howard had 16 rebounds to go with his 28 points. The other three Orlando starters combined for just 16 points.
Phoenix had won four in a row and six out of seven before losing the first two games of its current road trip. The four-game journey wraps up with contests at Indiana and Cleveland.
Jared Dudley led the Suns with 17 points while making 7-of-10 from the field. Robin Lopez had 14 off the bench.
The Suns fell a game below .500 and are two games behind Houston for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
