NBA: Indiana 93, New Jersey 88

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Danny Granger's two free throws with 19 seconds left halted a New Jersey comeback bid Thursday and lifted the Indiana Pacers to a 93-88 win over the Nets.

In a meeting of struggling teams, Indiana halted a five-game skid and extended New Jersey's losing streak to eight.

Granger scored 32 points and went to the line after New Jersey had trimmed a late nine-point deficit to three. His foul shots gave the Pacers a 91-86 lead and the Nets' last hope ended when Anthony Morrow missed a 3-point try with 17 seconds to go.

David West had 16 points for the Pacers while Roy Hibbert added 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Deron Williams led the Nets with 29 points while Kris Humphries had 24. New Jersey last won Feb. 1 against Detroit.
