CINCINNATI, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Rashard Mendenhall's 9-yard touchdown run with 1:55 remaining Sunday boosted the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 24-17 win over Cincinnati.

It was Mendenhall's second touchdown of the day en route to 44 yards on 16 carries for the Steelers (7-3), who posted a key AFC North victory.

They came into the contest a half-game behind the Bengals and Ravens in the division.

Ben Roethlisberger went 21-of-33 passing, gaining 245 yards with a touchdown and an interception, while Mike Wallace hauled down six passes for 54 yards and carried the ball two times for 31 yards in the victory.

The Bengals (6-3), meanwhile, saw their five-game winning streak snapped.

Cincinnati's Andy Dalton was picked off twice and held to 170 passing yards.
