Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI

CARY, N.C., Oct. 2 (UPI) -- Kenny Perry claimed his first Champions Tour victory Sunday, posting a one-shot victory at the SAS Championship with a 2-under-par 70.
Perry, who has split his time between the senior circuit and the PGA Tour this season, finished at 11-under 205.
That was good enough to edge Jeff Sluman (70) and John Huston (71) by one stroke at Prestonwood Country Club in North Carolina.
It was Perry's 11th Champions Tour start. He also played in 13 PGA events this year, making only five cuts. His best finish there was a tie for 38th at the Viking Classic.
Defending champion Russ Cochran came in fourth, registering a 1-under 71 to end at minus-eight. Fred Couples finished one shot further back after turning in a 2-under 70.
