MLB: Baltimore 6, Oakland 2

OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Robert Andino's two-run double highlighted a seventh-inning rally Monday that sent the Baltimore Orioles to a 6-2 victory over Oakland.

Trailing 2-1, the Orioles erupted for four runs in the seventh and grabbed control of the contest.

Athletics starter Gio Gonzalez (9-11) loaded the bases with nobody out and was replaced on the mound by Fautino De Los Santos.

Andino greeted him with a blast to the center field wall, plating two runs for a 3-2 lead, and Josh Bell followed with a two-run single as the Orioles took the opener of a three-game series against the A's.

Tommy Hunter (2-2) earned the win, holding Oakland to two runs on 10 hits over 6 2/3 frames, walking one and fanning three.

David DeJesus and Cliff Pennington drive in runs for the A's.
