Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
SANDY, Utah, July 9 (UPI) -- Andy Williams and Fabian Espindola found the net in the second half Saturday, powering Real Salt Lake to a 2-0 victory over FC Dallas.
Williams tallied the winning goal in the 47th minute from 30 yards out on a free kick. The shot dipped, fooling Dallas goalkeeper Kevin Hartman and bouncing off his left arm for the goal.
Fabian Espindola collected an insurance goal deep into stoppage time as Real (8-3-6) improved to 5-1-3 at home.
Dallas (10-5-4), meanwhile, dropped just its second game in its last 14 contests and saw its three-match win streak ended.
