MLB: Los Angeles Dodgers 1, Houston 0

LOS ANGELES, June 19 (UPI) -- Dioner Navarro's first home run as a Dodger was the difference Sunday, providing the only run of the game in a 1-0 Los Angeles win over Houston.

Navarro, who the Dodgers signed as a free agent in the off-season, came off the disabled list in late April and delivered his first homer for the team at an opportune time, going deep in the eighth inning.

Navarro also singled, accounting for two of the Dodgers' three hits as they broke a five-game losing streak.

Matt Guerrier (3-3) picked up the win after working a scoreless eighth inning and Javy Guerra pitched a 1-2-3 ninth to notch his second save of the season.

The Astros got two doubles from Chris Johnson, but it wasn't enough to prevent their 12th loss in 16 games.

Wilton Lopez (1-3) took the defeat after surrendering Navarro's home run.
