MLB: Los Angeles Angels 2, Cleveland 0

ANAHEIM, Calif., April 13 (UPI) -- The Los Angeles Angels beat the Cleveland Indians 2-0 Tuesday on a complete game one-hitter by Dan Haren that ended the Tribe's eight-game winning streak.

Haren (3-0) struck out eight and walked two in a 125-pitch outing, giving up a fourth-inning single to Shin-Soo Choo.

Peter Bourjos and Mark Trumbo hit solo home runs for the Angels, who managed only four hits in a pitching duel that lasted 2 hours, 15 minutes.

Fausto Carmona (0-2) took the loss despite pitching a gem. Carmona gave up two runs on four hits and struck out six in 7 2/3 innings.

Bourjos staked the Halos to a 1-0 with his home run in the third inning. Trumbo's insurance homer in the seventh was the first of his Major League career.
