NHL: Toronto 5, Boston 2

TORONTO, March 19 (UPI) -- Joey Crabb scored one goal and assisted on two others and James Reimer stopped 35 shots Saturday in the Toronto Maple Leafs' 5-2 victory over Boston.

Mike Brown and Nazem Kadri also scored for the Leafs, who won for the third time in five games.

Toronto used the triumph to keep pace in the Eastern Conference, remaining four points out of the eighth and final playoff spot.

The Bruins got goals from Adam McQuaid and Daniel Paille while falling to their sixth loss in seven games. Boston, however, maintained a three-point lead over Montreal atop the Northeast Conference.

Goalie Tim Thomas was pulled after allowing four goals on 22 shots. Tuukka Rask stopped 6-of-7 shots in 12 minutes of play during second period.
