WASHINGTON, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Carmelo Anthony put in 23 points and the Denver Nuggets posted only their sixth road win of the season Tuesday with a 120-109 decision over Washington.
Nene and Al Harrington added 21 points apiece for the Nuggets, who improved to 6-13 away from home at the start of a five-game trip.

Arron Afflalo netted 18 points, Ty Lawson contributed 17 and Chauncey Billups chipped in with 15 for Denver, which got 12 points from Billups in the first quarter and was rarely challenged after that.
The Wizards were led by Nick Young with 26 points and Andray Blatche added 25 and nine rebounds.
