NHL: Calgary 3, Minnesota 0

CALGARY, Alberta, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Miikka Kiprusoff stopped all 32 shots he faced Monday, notching his third shutout of the season in the Calgary Flames' 3-0 whitewash of Minnesota.

Kiprusoff was especially sharp in the third period when he stonewalled 13 shots. The Flames netminder weathered three power plays to record his 37th career shutout and defeat the Wild for the first time in eight starts against them.

Jay Bouwmeester, Jarome Iginla and Niklas Hagman each notched a goal and Alex Tanguay contributed a pair of assists for the victors.

Jose Theodore, starting in place of the slumping Niklas Backstrom, made 28-of-31 saves for Minnesota, which dropped both games in a Northwest Division road trip to Colorado and Calgary.
