NHL: New York Rangers 3, Pittsburgh 2 (OT)

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Ryan Callahan and Brandon Dubinsky teamed up for a goal in overtime Monday, lifting the New York Rangers to a 3-2 win over Pittsburgh.

With 2:22 remaining in the extra frame, Dubinsky skated in to the right of Pittsburgh's Marc-Andre Fleury on a 2-on-1 break, made a fake and passed to Callahan, who shot into an empty net for the game-winner.

New York's overtime win came after a furious final 3 minutes of regulation. Matt Cooke gave Pittsburgh a 3-2 lead with 1:53 to go -- a play on which Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct.

But the Rangers' Marc Staal scored a short-handed tally to tie the game just 27 seconds later and the contest into overtime.

Lundqvist ended with 37 saves while Fleury stopped 22-of-25 shots for the Pens.

Chris Kunitz got Pittsburgh's other goal and Erik Christensen also scored for New York.
