MLB: Pittsburgh 4, Arizona 3

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 19 (UPI) -- Neil Walker smacked a two-run homer in the eighth inning Sunday, handing the Pittsburgh Pirates a 4-3 decision over Arizona.

The Pirates entered the frame trailing 3-1 but scored three times to shock the D-backs and notch their third straight win.

Aaron Heilman (5-8) gave up singles to Ronny Cedeno and Andrew McCutchen, and with two outs Jose Tabata drove in Cedeno with a fielder's choice. Walker then connected on his go-ahead homer, making a winner of Joel Hanrahan (4-1), who had recorded the final two outs of the eighth.

Pirates starter Zach Duke allowed just three runs on six hits with a walk and three strikeouts over 7 1/3 innings.

Arizona was led at the plate by Ryan Roberts, who connected for a solo home run, and by Adam LaRoche and John Hester, who each drove in one run.
