Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

MILWAUKEE, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- Xavier Nady's seventh-inning homer provided the winning margin Saturday in the Chicago Cubs' 1-0 decision over Milwaukee.
Nady's blast rewarded Cubs starter Ryan Dempster (13-10), who delivered seven shutout innings in which he allowed three hits, walked two and struck out eight.
Chicago relievers Andrew Cashner, Sean Marshall and Carlos Marmol made the slim lead hold up, tossing two scoreless innings and allowing Chicago to clinch its three-game series against the Brewers.
Milwaukee's Randy Wolf (11-11) suffered the tough-luck loss. He surrendered only four hits and a walk. He struck out six.
