FRISCO, Texas, July 4 (UPI) -- David Ferreira's penalty kick goal in the 58th minute Saturday gave FC Dallas a 1-0 decision over Kansas City.
Dallas (5-2-6) extended its unbeaten run to four games with the win.

The game's only tally came when Ferreira converted into the right corner past Wizards goalie Jimmy Nielsen after he was brought down in the penalty area by defender Roger Espinoza.
Goalkeeper Kevin Hartman made four saves for Dallas against his former Kansas City teammates to earn his fourth shutout of the season.
The Wizards (3-7-3) went down to their second straight defeat.
