DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., May 10 (UPI) -- Former top-ranked women's golfer Lorena Ochoa was removed from the world rankings Monday, boosting nearly every other Top 10 golfer.
Ochoa announced last month she is retiring as a touring professional and asked that she be removed from the rankings. She slipped to No. 2 last week -- after 158 weeks at No. 1 -- behind Jiyai Shin.
