NHL: Chicago 6, Columbus 5

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan. 16 (UPI) -- Jonathan Toews scored two power-play goals in the third period Saturday, lifting Chicago to a 6-5 win over Columbus.

Marian Hossa, Andrew Ladd, Troy Brouwer and Ben Eager also scored for the Blackhawks, who completed a home-and-home sweep of the Blue Jackets. Patrick Kane assisted on three goals.

Cristobal Huet carded the win with 21 saves as Chicago improved to 12-6-3 on the road this season.

Patrick Kane notched three assists for the Blackhawks.

The Blue Jackets got two goals from Rick Nash. Kristian Huselius, Raffi Torres and Kris Russell also tallied for Columbus. Huselius also had two assists in the Blue Jackets' third straight loss after winning three in a row.

Steve Mason made 25 saves.

Columbus is just 4-12-4 in its last 20 games.
