NHL: Philadelphia 6, Tampa Bay 2

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Jeff Carter and Mike Richards led Philadelphia to a 6-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning Monday, each posting two goals and an assist.

Scott Hartnell and Dave Laliberte got the other Flyers' goals and James van Riemskyk had three assists.

Philadelphia goalie Ray Emery turned in 26 saves.

Jeff Halpern and Steven Stamkos scored for Tampa Bay, which has lost five of seven games.

Lightning goalie Mike Smith blocked 18 shots and allowed five goals before he was replaced by Antero Niitymaki, who was credited with 12 saves.
