MLB: Los Angeles Angels 10, Seattle 0

SEATTLE, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- Vladimir Guerrero hit two home runs, knocked in four and scored three Monday in the Los Angeles Angels' 10-0 whitewash of Seattle.

Juan Rivera smacked a three-run homer and Howie Kendrick drove in a pair of runs for the Angels, who have won four of their last six games and ran their NL West lead over second-place Texas to seven games.

LA starter Joe Saunders (11-7) gave up three hits over seven scoreless innings, walking three and striking out four. Saunders is 3-0 with a 0.43 ERA against the Mariners this season.

Seattle starter Luke French (4-4) went five innings, allowing seven runs on 10 hits.
