MLB: San Francisco 5, Arizona 4

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 26 (UPI) -- Travis Ishikawa had two hits Tuesday, including a three-run homer in the eighth inning, to lead the San Francisco Giants over the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-4.

Ishikawa drove a fastball from Jon Rauch (2-2) over the right field wall to snap a 2-2 tie and end San Francisco's three-game losing streak.

Juan Uribe also homered for the Giants, who remained four games behind Colorado in the National League wild card race.

Jeremy Affeldt (1-1) picked up the win after working a scoreless eighth inning in relief of Matt Cain, who held Arizona to two runs on four hits over seven innings. Sergio Romo notched his second save.

Dan Haren started for the Diamondbacks and gave up two runs on six hits and six strikeouts in seven innings.

Arizona took a 2-1 lead in the fifth on a two-run double by Stephen Drew but the Giants tied it in the seventh when Ishikawa scored from third on a wild pitch by Haren.
