MLB: Florida 8, Houston 6

MIAMI, Aug. 10 (UPI) -- John Baker hit a two-run double Monday to spark the Florida Marlins in an 8-6 victory over the Houston Astros.

Hanley Ramirez added two hits and an RBI and Chris Coghlan scored two runs and drove in another for the Marlins.

Rick VandenHurk (2-1), coming off his first loss of the season, surrendered five hits and two runs while walking three five innings to get the victory.

The Astros have won just four of their last 12 games. Darin Erstad drove in three runs with a two-run homer and an RBI double and Carlos Lee had a two-run double in the ninth for Houston.

Loser Brian Moehler (7-8) allowed four runs and five hits over five innings for Houston.
