MLB: Toronto 6, Boston 2

TORONTO, July 18 (UPI) -- Marc Rzepczynski got his first major league victory Saturday by holding Boston to a run and four hits in six innings in a 6-2 win by Toronto.

Rzepczynski (1-1) walked four batters, but was able to keep Boston's explosive offense in check and four relievers did the same thing.

Adam Lind hit a two-run homer, Jose Bautista a two-run double, Alex Rios an RBI single and one run scored on Kevin Millar's double-play ground out.

The Blue Jays snapped their three-game losing streak by limiting Boston to Jed Lowrie's solo homer and Rocco Baldelli's RBI single.

Losing pitcher Brad Penny (6-4) surrendered six runs and eight hits in five innings for the Red Sox, who had won four in a row.

It was Penny's first career loss at Toronto.
