WEST ALLIS, Wis., May 31 (UPI) -- Scott Dixon took the lead on the 201st lap and went on to win Sunday's ABC Supply/A.J. Foyt 225 at the Milwaukee Mile by 2.12 seconds over Ryan Briscoe.

Dixon passed Briscoe in the backstretch of Lap 201 and held on for the victory. Dario Franchitti finished third, followed by Graham Rahal and Danica Patrick.

The win was the second of the season for the two-time IndyCar Series champion and 18th of his career. Dixon turned in the fastest lap of the race at 164.17 mph. The race average was 138.784 mph.

Dixon started in fourth place and stalked Briscoe in second place from Lap 154 until 201 when he slipped past Briscoe, who had become backed up behind two slower cars heading into Turn 3.

Briscoe had used a similar maneuver to grab the lead from Franchitti on Lap 154.
