MLB: Chi. Cubs 7, St. Louis 5 (11 innings)

CHICAGO, April 18 (UPI) -- Aramis Ramirez hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the 11th Saturday to give the Chicago Cubs a 7-5 victory over St. Louis.

Ramirez, who was hitless in five previous at-bats, drove a Dennys Reyes (0-1) pitch over the left-center field wall.

Aaron Miles drove in two of runs and Derrek Lee added a two-run double for the Cubs, who have won five of their last seven games. Ryan Theriot was 3- for-5 with a triple and a run scored.

Ryan Dempster earned a no-decision after surrendering four runs on four hits with four walks and as many strikeouts in six innings. Angel Guzman (1-0) got the win after pitching a scoreless 11th.

Ryan Ludwick had two RBI and Khalil Greene hit a solo home run for the Cardinals, who have lost three of five. Kyle Lohse gave up four runs on five hits with four strikeouts and two walks over five innings of a no-decision.
