NHL: Dallas 4, San Jose 1

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 4 (UPI) -- The Dallas Stars rode two goals by rookie James Neal Tuesday to a 4-1 win over San Jose that broke a five-game losing streak.

Brian Sutherby and Mike Modano each added a goal and an assist for the Stars. Marty Turco made 24 saves in the win.

The Sharks' only goal was by Joe Thornton. San Jose backup netminder Brian Boucher, making his third consecutive start in place of Evgeni Nabokov, who is out with flu-like symptoms, allowed four goals on 31 shots. San Jose has lost three of its last four.
