NHL: Nashville 4, Phoenix 1

NASHVILLE, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Jason Arnott put Nashville in front for good and Pekka Rinne made 25 saves Thursday night, bringing the Predators a 4-1 victory over Phoenix.

Ed Jovanovski scored the Coyotes' lone goal 11:04 into the second period to tie the contest, but Arnott delivered the game-winner just 54 seconds later.

Joel Ward and David Legwand produced third-period goals, pushing Nashville to its third straight win.

The Predators peppered Phoenix goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov with 47 shots.
