NHL: Anaheim 3, Buffalo 2

BUFFALO, N.Y., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Mike Brown got the game-winning goal late in the second period Tuesday, delivering the Anaheim Ducks a 3-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres.

Teemu Selanne and Todd Marchant also scored for the Ducks. J.S. Giguere made 34 saves in the victory.

Paul Gaustad and Alex Kotalik scored for the Sabres.

Buffalo starting goaltender Ryan Miller did not play due to a high left ankle sprain he suffered Saturday. Patrick Lalime, filling in for Miller, allowed three goals on 21 shots.
