NHL: Vancouver 4, Montreal 2

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Henrik and Daniel Sedin had a goal and an assist each Sunday night to lead Vancouver past Montreal 4-2 -- the Canucks' 10th win in 11 games with the Canadiens.

Alexander Edler and Ryan Kesler scored goals and Roberto Luongo stopped 25 shots for Vancouver, which has won five of six overall and has gone 10


1 against Montreal since Nov. 30, 2000.

Saku Koivu and Andrei Kostitsyn scored goals and Jaroslav Halak let in four goals on 33 shots for Montreal, which has lost five of its last six games.

The Canucks grabbed the lead at 10:28 of the first period when Daniel Sedin scored his 172nd goal as a Canuck -- moving him up to 10th place on the franchise all-time goal-scoring list.

Edler made it 2-0 less than a minute later, but Koivu cut the lead to 2-1 with 1:46 left in the first period.

Henrik Sedin scored what turned out to be the decisive goal after a feed from Daniel Sedin with less than a minute to go in the second.
