NBA: New Orleans 105, Indianapolis 103

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- A 17-foot jump shot by David West with 2.5 seconds remaining Sunday boosted the New Orleans Hornets to a 105-103 victory over the Indiana Pacers.

Chris Paul and James Posey topped the Hornets' scoring with 19 points each, with Paul adding 12 assists and West finishing with 18 points.

Rasual Butler scored 15 points and Peja Stojakovic had 12 for New Orleans, which has won six of its last eight games.

Indiana's Danny Granger led all scorers with 34 points.

The Pacers have lost three games in a row by a combined total of six points.
