NHL: Nashville 4, Atlanta 3 (OT)

ATLANTA, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- A goal from Ryan Suter 1:44 into the overtime period Friday gave Nashville a 4-3 victory over Atlanta.

Suter took a lead pass from Shea Weber and fired a wrist shot between the pads of Johan Hedberg.

Nashville won for the second time in three games, getting goals from Don Hamhuis, Scott Nichol and Jason Arnott. Pekka Rinne made 22 saves and also had an assist.

The Thrashers, who have lost five out of six, got 22 saves from Hedberg.

Nashville took a 3-2 lead early in the third period on a wrist shot from Arnott, but Nashville tied it on a goal from Nathan Oystrick.
