BUFFALO, N.Y., Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Defenseman Henrik Tallinder had a goal and an assist Wednesday, keying the Buffalo Sabres' 4-3 win over the St. Louis Blues.
His goal at 3:34 of the third period gave Buffalo a 4-2 advantage, and was the eventual game-winner. It was his first goal in 23 games.
Adam Mair, Tim Connolly and Jason Pominville all scored in the first period for Buffalo.
Netminder Ryan Miller was credited with 30 saves on 33 shots, ending the Sabres' 12-game winless streak against the Blues.
Buffalo center Tim Connolly left in the third period with an undisclosed injury.
St. Louis left wing David Perron had a goal and two assists. Right wing Lee Stempniak and center Patrik Berglund had a goal and an assist
Starting St. Louis netminder Manny Legace gave up four goals on seven shots before being replaced by Chris Mason late in the first period.
Mason allowed one goal on 25 shots.
