Luongo stopped all 29 shots he faced, and the only goal he would need was scored by defenseman Sami Salo on the power play at 13:36 of the first period after assists by Kevin Bieksa and Henrik Sedin.

Henrik also assisted on brother Daniel Sedin's fifth goal at 17:20 of the third.

Goalie Niklas Backstrom was beaten twice on 29 shots for the Wild, who have lost four of their last six games since starting the season with a 5

1 mark.

On the power play, Vancouver went 1-for-5, and the Wild failed to score on three man-advantage chances.
