NHL: Chicago 4, Columbus 3 (SO)

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 1 (UPI) -- Jonathan Toews scored the lone shootout goal Saturday night, helping the Chicago Blackhawks record a 4-3 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Regulation ended in a 3-3 tie after Columbus left wing Kristian Huselius scored at 12:08 of the third period, and overtime was scoreless.

Both Kris Versteeg and Duncan Keith had two assists, and in regulation, goalie Cristobal Huet made 48 saves on 51 shots in the Blackhawks' second win in a row.

Columbus' R.J. Umberger and Fedor Tyutin also scored in regulation.

Derick Brassard assisted twice, while goalie Fredrik Norrena stopped 21-of-24 shots for the Blue Jackets, who have lost four of five.

Columbus forward Jared Boll did not play because he was serving a one-game suspension for receiving an instigator penalty late in the third period Thursday against Colorado.
