MLB: Tampa Bay 5, Baltimore 4

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., May 25 (UPI) -- Evan Longoria's RBI double in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday helped the Tampa Bay Rays edge Baltimore 5-4and complete a three-game sweep.

With two doubles and the RBI, the rookie third baseman put a finishing touch on a huge weekend which included two homers and six RBI in an 11-4 rout Saturday.

Carlos Pena hit a two-run homer in the third and scored the winning run Sunday. Dioner Navarro had two hits and one RBI, while B.J. Upton had a hit and stole two bases for the Rays, who have won five of their last six contests.

The winner was Troy Percival (1-0).

Baltimore got Aubrey Huff's sixth-inning solo homer, while Melvin Mora, Ramon Hernandez and Adam Jones had one RBI each. Brian Roberts and Jay Payton both had two hits for the Orioles, who have lost five straight and six of seven.

The losing pitcher was George Sherrill (1-1).
