MIAMI, May 25 (UPI) -- Dan Uggla, Jeremy Hermida, Jorge Cantu and Cody Ross homered Sunday, powering the Florida Marlins over San Francisco 8-6 in the first game of a doubleheader.
The homers by Uggla and Hermida were two-run shots.

Cantu scored three runs and Hanley Ramirez two for the Marlins, who won for the fourth time in five games.
Mark Hendrickson (7-2) gave up five runs and nine hits in five innings but still ended up with the win. Kevin Gregg recorded his 10th save.
Bengie Molina had three doubles and three RBI and Aaron Rowand hit a two-run homer for the Giants.
Pat Misch (0-1), who was battered for seven runs in 4 1/3 innings, was the loser.
