MLB: Chicago White Sox 4, Cleveland 1

CHICAGO, May 21 (UPI) -- Carlos Quentin and Jim Thome each homered Tuesday to lead the Chicago White Sox to a 4-1 victory over the Cleveland Indians.

Jose Contreras (5-3) allowed a run on four hits over six innings for the White Sox, who are riding a six-game win streak. Four pitchers combined to throw three perfect innings in relief, with Bobby Jenks getting his 11th save.

Grady Sizemore drove in the lone run for the Indians, who have lost four straight.

C.C. Sabathia (3-6) took the loss after allowing two runs on seven hits. He struck out eight in six innings.
