DALLAS, April 29 (UPI) -- Mattias Norstrom scored 4:37 into overtime Tuesday to hand Dallas a 2-1 win over San Jose and a 3-0 edge in their Western Conference semifinals.

Sergei Zubov tied the game in the third period and Mike Ribeiro set up both goals for the Stars, who can close out the series Wednesday in Game 4 in Dallas. Stars goalie Marty Turco made 19 saves.

Patrick Marleau scored the lone goal and Evgeni Nabokov stopped 27 shots for San Jose, which is facing elimination from the second round for the third straight season.
