NBA: New Orleans 100, New York 88

NEW YORK, March 3 (UPI) -- Chris Paul had 27 points, eight assists and three steals Monday and the New Orleans Hornets finished with 10 unanswered points to beat New York 100-88.

David West added 19 points and eight rebounds and Tyson Chandler had 15 points and 18 rebounds for the Hornets, who have won three of their last four games. New Orleans trails San Antonio by 1 1/2 games in the NBA's Southwest Division.

Jamal Crawford had 20 points and six assists and Eddy Curry scored 19 points for New York, which has lost three in a row and five of its last seven. Nate Robinson had 17 points for the Knicks.
