Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

NEWARK, N.J., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Travis Zajac had a goal and an assist and Martin Brodeur stopped 21 of 22 shots Monday in the New Jersey Devils' 5-1 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.
Mike Mottau, Jay Pandolfo, Johnny Oduya and Zach Parise each had a goal for New Jersey, which has won four of its last five games. Brian Gionta and Dainius Zubrus each had two assists.
Jeff Hamilton scored the Hurricanes only goal, Carolina goalie John Grahame made 26 saves. Carolina had a three-game winning streak halted.
The Devils, who have 73 points moved into sole possession of first place in the Atlantic Division, two points ahead of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Carolina has 64 points, two ahead of Washington for first in the Southwest Division.
